Hey all! There has been a long hiatus with Broken Volume, but we are back for the spring! We will be booking some shows in the spring so look forward to seeing us again in the Chicagoland area! Blessings to everyone!

Hey Everybody,
I never write on here like this, but I always get yelled at later for not telling anybody about our upcoming shows, so, here you go. Here's The Scoop:
There are a couple churches coming together to sponsor a big community outreach, and we'll be providing musical entertainment as well as leading worship for the event.  There is no cost, and there will be food provided.  So if you've got a casual, potentially uneventful saturday coming up, and want to spice it up with a bit of God-loving rock-and-roll worship, here's an option.  :) Check out our shows page for more information!

Hey gang, wow, it's been almost 6 months since the last post, I'm sure some of you are wondering "Where the heck are those guys, do they even still exist?".  Yes, we still exist.  Have we been really busy with live shows and recording and all sorts of very time consuming music related things?  No, not really.  Not really at all.  We took a few months off a while back.  Some of you may know Bruce had a bout with cancer, which did some damage to his hip, so he had to have a hip replacement.  So that kind of forced us to take a break for a while.  We just recently started practices up again, and we've been working on getting back up to speed as far as the live set goes, while at the same time creating new stuff.  Bruce is healing well, he's walking, not comfortably, but he's up moving around, so we've begun looking to book shows again.  So stay tuned for more updates as we're finally back to work getting this big Jesus-loving guitar-driven rock-and-roll ball movin' again.

Greetings!  Thanks so much to everybody at CLCBC for coming out saturday night and supporting us!!  We're grateful for the opportunity that we had to share our music with you, and to spend some time in worship with you all!!!  Thanks again!

Ok, real quick.  Our online store is up!!!  You can go buy sweet BV stuff for your boyfriend, grandmother, pastor, or even your favorite Starbucks Barista.  So far we're limited to shirts and a CD, but we're trusting that it'll expand to include stickers, hats, and who-knows what else.  Maybe we'll do temporary tattoos, we'll just have to see.  Anyway, go check it out and buy a load of stuff.  Levi, our webmaster and total business/design guru, did a sweet job setting it all up.  Just go here:  Broken Volume Official Online Store

We were going to have a show on the 16th in Wheaton...but it got cancelled, but you can still catch us on September 23, 2006 at Chain of Lakes Community Bible Church! (More info in the tour section). Also, we've put up a myspace, so you can check us out at www.myspace.com/brokenvolume! And some more exciting news: we're goin to have our webstore up in about a week or so, so you can get all of your official Broken Volume merchandise from our official store! We hope to see you all in Lake Villa on the 23rd! God bless!

Hey everybody, so sorry for the lack of updates, life is hectic!!  We're in the process of a bunch of different things right now.  Upcoming shows, writing new music, developing an online store, etc.  Cool stuff is on the way!!  Be sure to check out the picture gallery to see some pics of us in action!

Also, we've got a show tomorrow (7-22-06) at Memorial Park in Wheaton, we play around 5:00pm.  Come out and rock-the-J with us!!! :)

Much thanks to everyone who came out to our CD Release Concert in Lombard, it was an excellent time. Our CD is now out as well as some T-shirts, so you can pick those up at any of our concerts. We'll have pictures up soon! Overall it was a very good time, and much thanks to God for He is the one who gives all good things!

Hey Everyone!

We just sent our new self-titled CD in for production! It's been a long, tiring year as we tackled all the mixing, editing, and mastering, but we're finally finishing it up. Be sure to come out to our release party on May 6th at the Lombard Bible Church! The concert is free. We're really excited about this concert and this release! Expect it to be a great show!
