Cincinnati Reds Rookie Elly De La Cruz stole 2nd, 3rd & Home in the span of two pitches!

Since making his MLB debut in early June, De La Cruz is battling .325 with four home runs and 16 stolen bases.

The Cincinnati Reds suddenly emerged as darkhorse championship contenders in the National League after they called up a 21-year-old shortstop named Elly De La Cruz from the minor leagues on June 6th. The presence of the team's new 6'5" (200 lbs) starting shortstop made an immediate impact on their play, sparking a 12-game winning streak, an overall record of 22-6, and an unlikely surge atop the NL Central Division standings.
